There is an implied before the first frequency. If you want the radio to return to a fixed listening frequency after making calls on another, you can have a single entry in the list If you want to scan different frequencies at different times of day, put a time Format hh:ss between sets of Frequencies. There is no hard limit on the number of frequencies to scan. See here for more details on using these featuires. The general format is [ Normally only applications on the same machine can use rigcontrol. This allows some applications which support Hamlib to use BPQ's ports. Routing calls to specified application only with Pactor controllers With SCS Pactor controllers it is also possible to route calls to different applications on a single frequency. Rig Control can also use Hamlib's rigctld to control the radio instead of controlling it directly.įeatures supported include: Frequency Scanning, including time-based scanning. I can look around and see if I have any code snippets.BPQ32 includes a Rig Control feature, which allows applications to control the frequency and operating mode of your transceivers. I did write a bunch of stuff a long time ago using cough, cough Borland Turbo Pascal. What "language" are you using for programming?

None of this looks like it would display, as you might expect TTY mode. The actual commands are between these two sequences and are 8-bit hex codes. I can also control the radio just fine using other software packages. Joined Jul 4, Messages Do you have the correct baud rate? Baud rate is correct. I know the command reference - I'm just wondering if there is any special conversion that needs to be done considering I'm just getting gibberish back in the terminal instead of the proper expected return commands.

I tried to upload the manual to the post but it was to large.

Any ideas? It looks like the command reference is on pdf page 38 of the Icom IC-r manual.
#Icom ci v reference manual serial
In testing with my Icom R - I configure the serial port and open it in a terminal, but all I get is gibberish back when changing channels on the radio.
